Prestfelde is a co-educational prep school of some 300 pupils aged from 3 to 13. The school believes in giving every pupil the opportunity to achieve excellence and places special emphasis on Music, Sport and the Arts within the curriculum.

Prestfelde is situated on the edge of Shrewsbury, within the boundary of the ring road, and occupies a delightfully peaceful and secure parkland site of some thirty acres.

The teaching facilities at Prestfelde are of an excellent standard – most of the classrooms have been built within the last ten years. The pastoral care of the pupils is of paramount importance within the school, and the dedicated work of our Chaplain, the teaching staff and the Health Centre matrons ensure that the pupils are happy and supported in all that they do.

Although predominantly a day school, a significant number of the older pupils board on a weekly or part-time basis, thus gaining a valuable experience that enables them to make the right decision about whether to board at senior school.
