The Peterborough School

The Peterborough School has an excellent academic reputation, combining traditional high expectations with modern methods, instilling independent study habits and bringing top results.

Situated in the school’s beautiful grounds, the Nursery, taking children from 6 weeks, has access to other school facilities and strong links to the Preparatory Department.

The Preparatory Department provides a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of each boy and girl.  The key characteristics which are developed in our children are pride, courtesy, self-esteem and the will to achieve and take on further challenges, enhanced by the 25 clubs and extra curricular activities available each term.

The Senior School, now admitting boys into Years 7 and 12 and fully co-educational by 2014, is distinguished by its small class sizes.

These provide excellent individual attention for academic and social development. High academic achievement is combined with traditional values and strong pastoral care.

Beyond the classroom there are many opportunities in Sports and the Arts. Students are benefitting from the facilities within the Centre for Creative Arts, opened in 2007, and a major new sports facility development will be open in 2012.
