Peterborough High School

Peterborough High School has an excellent academic reputation, combining traditional high expectations with modern methods, instilling independent study habits and bringing top results.

Situated in the school’s beautiful grounds, the Nursery, taking children from 6 weeks, has access to other school facilities and strong links to the Preparatory Department.

The Preparatory Department provides a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of each boy and girl.  The key characteristics which are developed in our children are pride, courtesy, self-esteem and the will to achieve and take on further challenges, enhanced by the 25 clubs and extra curricular activities available each term.

The Senior School, for girls only, is distinguished by its small class sizes, which provide excellent individual attention for academic and social development.  High academic achievement is combined with traditional values and strong pastoral care.

Beyond the classroom, there are many sporting opportunities and the school will soon benefit from the completion of its Centre for Creative Arts.
