Congratulations to Francesca Froggatt, a Year 8 pupil from Abbots Bromley School for Girls in Staffordshire who came 2nd in the Woodard Schools Christmas Card Competition.
Francesca’s distinctive design beat a host of entries by pupils from other Woodard schools and won her second place in this hotly contested annual competition. Headmistress, Mrs Trish Woodhouse presented Francesca with her winning vouchers during school assembly and she also received a framed copy of her original artwork.
Mrs Trish Woodhouse commented: ““The School was delighted for Francesca to come so highly placed in this competition. She is a very talented little artist and her lovely drawing is a prime example of AB’s flourishing art department”.
Francesca’s mother, Mrs Rebecca Froggatt said: "Francesca was thrilled and surprised to come 2nd in this competition and was particularly pleased with her prize of £50 in vouchers - which will most likely be spent on the high street!”
