Founded in 1847, Woodard Schools form the largest group of independent Church of England schools in England and Wales.
They offer the highest standards of academic education coupled with a supportive and nurturing environment where every individual is encouraged and valued.
The schools are united in their diversity and range from boarding, day, private, state, nursery, prep, senior, single sex and co-educational.
From the group of schools, 23 are owned directly by Woodard. They are private, fee paying schools. The affiliated schools are independent and leading state schools keen to have a relationship with Woodard in order to share best practice, beliefs and to provide interschool opportunities for their pupils.
Many of the owned schools have a national as well as an international reputation and in turn, a flourishing boarding community.
